Instant Turf Mount Waverley
Instant Turf Melbourne – Turf Mount Waverley – specialise in delivering fresh turf to homes and businesses with instant turf ready for you to lay. Choose from our range of turf to create the best lawn for your needs.
If you’re after turf that is tough and durable for you fur-babies, or you just need a hardy lawn for your environment, then Kikuyu is for you.
Kikuyu known as a rapid growing lawn. As it’s a fast grower, if damaged your Kikuyu grass will repair itself quickly. Kikuyu holds its colour into the winter months. If affected by frost, it may brown but will bounce right back coming into spring. It also thrives in sunny conditions and is drought tolerant. The tough turf solution for your lawn.
After you’ve received your turf from us at Instant Turf Melbourne, and once it’s been laid, keeping your new lawn healthy doesn’t necessarily mean lots of chemicals and sprays! Regular watering, mowing and correct fertilising will keep your lawn looking great season after season.
Watering: It’s important to water your lawn at certain points during the day, so you’re not losing precious water by evaporation! Water your lawn in the early morning or just as the sun is about to set to maximise the amount of water your lawn receives.
Mowing: Mowing regularly to keep your lawn nice and trim – but don’t mow at the lowest setting! For lawn health, leaving the grass at a good length helps shade the new grass growing underneath. You can also leave the grass clippings on your lawn to return those nutrients back in to the earth.
Fertilising: Choose the correct fertiliser for your lawn for the best results. Read the labels on the bag, or ask your gardening store for advice for which fertiliser best suits your grass type.
